PROGRAMME

DAY 1 : Getting ready

You'll meet the crew for a first briefing and a quick material check followed by an aperitif in one of the historical hotels in the very centre of Cuneo, where you'll spend the first night. After the meeting, you'll be free to visit the city and choose between one of its countless restaurants.

DAY 2 : Your trip starts in a fortress

A bus will bring you at the depart of the first tour. Today's ride will start at the Vinadio fortress and, after reaching the peak of the day at 2300m, will lead you on an amazing downhill towards the small village of Sambuco, where you'll be staying the next days. The wellness centre will be waiting for you.

DAY 3 : Across the lakes

The tour of the day will bring you to some of the most spectacular lakes of the region. After a shuttle to Argentera, you'll start the climb towards the french border and the lakes. Lunch brake on the lakeside and the trip will go on towards a technical and panoramic descent to the bus, which will bring you back to the hotel.

DAY 4 : Ride the rock 

This will be the moment to discover what the dolomitic rocky face that dominates Sambuco looks like! After a panoramic climb and few hundred meters of hike-a-bike, you'll find yourself at the top of Monte Bersaio at 2385m, with an incredible view of all the surroundings mountains. The descent, which includes the locals' favourite Vallone della Madonna, will make you smile from the top to the bottom.

DAY 5 : Trip to the border

After reaching by bus the little village of Argentera, you'll start your ride to Ferrere, a tiny tipical village at 1890m where you'll have some rest at the Becchi Rossi refuge before going back on the bike towards the Colle del Puriac, a magical place right on the border with France. After a look at the stunning mountains around you, it'll be time for a panoramic flowy dowhnill.

DAY 6 : Altitude experience

Today you'll reach the Vallone dell'Arma by bus, where you will take your bike and backpack for a highly panoramic tour at the Meja-Gardetta plateau, with the stunning view of the famous Rocca la Meja, one of the most iconic mountains of the region. The tour will finish at the Gardetta refuge, at 2335m, where you'll spend the night in a typical alpine atmosphere.

DAY 7 : The longest descent

After an altitude breakfast, you'll start your last day with a panoramic uphill towards the Colle Vallonetto. From there, up to 2150m of epic descent will bring you back to Sambuco. Flowy bits, technical switchbacks and rock gardens, you'll certainly find what you like in this endless tour. After a last lunch at the hotel, it'll be time to get back to Cuneo where your trip has started 7 days before.
